David Blacklock
FOUNDER & OWNER
David graduated with a bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian University in 2005 and a master's degree from the University of North Texas in 2011. The following year he launched his construction career at CGI Construction Group. Throughout his tenure, he worked as an estimator, project assistant, project manager, superintendent and warranty director. In 2019, he founded BT Builders and explored a different aspect of the industry: the project vision. David enjoys brainstorming with clients, exploring design styles, drafting home plans and overseeing jobsite construction.

Brenna Blacklock
DESIGN DIRECTOR
Brenna studied at Abilene Christian University and earned a B.A. in marketing in 2007. After graduation, she joined the marketing team at Encompass Home Health in DFW. A few years later, her work pivoted toward home decorating, and she took on independent projects to help families redesign their homes. In this role, she provided an overall vision for each project and then sourced the furniture and decor. In 2019, Brenna and David founded BT Builders where she helps clients create a cohesive design that is unique in function and style.
